June #60MOC – ‘The Profound Power of Mindfulness and Well-being’ with Anne Rodgers

Date(s) - 07/06/2019

RRP: $0.00 (ex GST)

Topic Overview

Join Anne Rodgers as she shares her insight into the human mindfulness movement. What does it really do to the mind? How does this affect us in a professional sense? And what power does good well-being really have with us?

An experienced business leader, Anne turned to yoga and mindfulness to cope with the rigors of business and to support her own mental health. Anne was so taken with the benefits of mindfulness, as well as the improvements to her own well-being, that she took a leap of faith and changed her life’s direction.

Anne now supports people in dealing with the pressures of daily life through mindfulness based practices, guiding her clients to replenish and regenerate the mind-body-emotion connection with an emphasis on breath awareness and balancing the nervous system.

The #60MOC series is Adelaide’s Longest Running Business Improvement Series and was developed to help clients to better understand a key theme or concept. We all know great consultants should be ahead of the knowledge curve, but sometimes they can get a bit too far in front. So rather than deliver an inferior consulting assignment we’d invite our clients along ‘for a coffee’ and we’d effectively teach something of value.

Then jump back into an amazing assignment.

Now #60MOC has it’s own community! A group of people that come together on the first Friday of every month to hear our local volunteer speakers present an hour of engaging content on a topic of their specialty. And in return, the community or guests get 1 personal development unit, a delicious Mahalia coffee and hopefully some new knowledge and inspiration!

14 years on, the #60MOC series remains proudly independent and has delivered over 220 free sessions. We’ve raised thousands of dollars for charity and have created a serious platform for many high profile professionals to share insight for the South Australian business community.

Proudly sponsored by MCBI and Mahalia Coffee.
